Join Our Governing Board

The Northern Colorado Continuum of Care (NoCO CoC) Governing Board is recruiting new members! This is a unique opportunity to help guide policies, priorities, and community initiatives to address homelessness in our region.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in:

  • Lived experience

  • Law enforcement or public safety

  • Elected office or government leadership

  • Small business or private sector representation

Recruitment Timeline:

  • March 1–31: Nomination window

  • April 1–10: Board Development Committee reviews nominations and finalizes the nominee slate

  • May 7: Nominees introduce themselves at the Designated Representative meeting; electronic voting opens for seven days immediately following introductions

  • After the vote: Newly elected members are seated at the next Governing Board meeting and formally introduced at the next membership meeting

NoCO CoC Committees and Work Groups

CAHPS Steering Committee - provides oversight and direction to the Coordinated Assessment Housing Placement System, our local coordinated entry system

Lived Experience Council - advises the NoCO CoC to make system level improvements based on lived experience of homelessness

Data and Performance Committee - evaluates homeless system data for data quality, system outcomes, and disparities and makes recommendations for system improvement

Built for Zero Committees - time-limited committees that focus on implementing specific Built for Zero strategies to ultimately reach Functional Zero homelessness

Point in Time Count Committee - plans and executes the annual Point in Time and Housing Inventory Counts

Project Rating Committee - oversees the rating and ranking process for the annual CoC Program competition and evaluation of project outcomes

Lived Experience Advisory Council (LEAC)

The LEAC advises the NoCO CoC to make system level improvements based on lived experience of homelessness. The LEAC is open people with current or recent experience of homelessness who are able to make at least a six month commitment to meet monthly. Council members are paid for their participation. Council meetings occur in both Larimer County and Weld County. For more information, contact contact@nocococ.org
